reTAIL therapy

Our dogs are a member of our family, and it's fun to buy them stuff.

Here are a few of my favorite things:

We love the convenience of shopping at for Earthborn Holistic Puppy Vantage Natural Dry Dog Food for our puppies and Royal Canin for our older dogs.

We go through A LOT of training treats. A lot. My favorite are Pet Botanics Training Rewards They are low calorie and don’t crumble in your pocket.

Orvis has guaranteed chew-resistant dog beds, I found them after losing, ahem, a few beds…They are worth the price because they last.

Bullymake box – a monthly offering to please your most discerning guests, we have opted for this box curated for heavy chewers. Worth every dime. A bored Lab is a chewing lab. If your dog destroys any toy that they send you within 2 weeks, Bullymake will ship you a replacement that’s tougher!

Lupine pet collars, harnesses and leashes are fully guaranteed and replaceable if chewed through (Ollie, this means you).

Kong makes wonderfully sturdy dog toys, we love the Kong Wubba

We adore the toys from Jax & Bones

Are you into DIY? Any baby pool will do, but if you really want to rock the party…you’re looking at a One Dog One Bone Pool with custom wraparound deck. Nice…

(As seen on )

The best pet related giftI have received, not knowing that I needed one…

The Poplar for Pets Collapsible Travel Cup with Carabiner. Yep, you need one.

Big dog(s)? You are also going to want to protect your car with a backseat cover/pet hammock

*For safety, we attach D-rings and leashes to the car seat tethers and put the dog in a harness. Do not connect to a collar. Think of the poor dog’s neck if you make a quick stop.

there’s, like, a bunch of dogs in here.

That is why you NEED this front doormat from theCHEEKYdoormat

Frontgate has all manner water and dirt shield mats and doormats. You will want one next to every exterior door, (they get close to the door and then, oops!)  and under your pets bowls. I have had my share of puppy accidents on these, and they hose right off with a little soap and are good as new.

I’m pretty sure that I can no longer smell dog. I’ve grown immunity of something. Yay me. For everybody else, I recommend Fabreeze and candles. My favorite are Gerrard Larriett Deodorizing Soy Candle For Pets – available at Gerrard Larriett along with wonderful smelling Natural Chew Deterrent Spray and Natural Stain and Odor Remover Spray
