Tips and Tails for Healthy dogs

Questions? We have answers. Well, we know where to look. If you are lucky enough to have a great vet who will take the time to talk with you on the phone, that is the best resource for any questions you have about your dog. Next to you, they know your dog best. I like to know a little about what I’m asking about first, so I often turn to Ask PetMD for pet advice and answers from veterinarians. You can ask a question or search their database of thousands of questions already answered by vets, behaviorists and health professionals. If you are concerned that your dog might not be well, but you aren’t sure, check out The Dog Health Guide for an easy, indexed guide to your dog’s health.

Another great resource for dog care, behavior, and training tips is the Humane Society. Here you will find articles on everything from crate training, to how to stop destructive chewing, and how to choose the right trainer for your dog.
